29th January 2010 -  The Minister of Youth and Sport Snezana Samardzic Markovic visited Natalija Lukovic, once second best volleyball player of the world and the captain of the first national volleyball team who won medals at big competitions. She is accommodated in geriatric ward “Bezanijska kosa”.

Conferences : The First Conference on Youth Information Work in Serbia

 30th November 2009 -  The first Conference on youth information work in Serbia was held on 24 November 2009 in the Parliament of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina in Novi Sad, and the idea of youth information work was presented with the accent on presenting and analyzing the state of informedness Serbian youth and considering possibilities for improving this kind of youth work in Serbia and its better and more efficient application. The Ministry of Youth and Sport was represented by Assistant Minister Snezana Klasnja.

Awards : Award to Serbian Sport

5th December 2009 - During the final night of showing the best commercials from all over the world at the tenth anniversary of “The Night of the Ad Eaters” in Sava Centre, sport was proclaimed the brand of the decade because of the best manner of promoting our country to the world. The award was handed to the Minister of Youth and Sport Snezana Samardzic Markovic.

Strategies : Initiated Procedure for Adopting Proposal for Strategy of Career Guidance and Counseling in the Republic of Serbia

 15th December 2009 -  Coordinating team preparing the proposal for the Strategy of career guidance and counseling in the Republic of Serbia shaped the final text of the proposal for this document and its accompanying action plan for the implementation for the period from 2009 to 2014 soon after public discussion and round table discussion, taking into consideration the suggestions of expert institutions.

Meetings : Meeting of Committee of National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia for Youth and Sport Held in Kragujevac

15th December 2009 -  The committee of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia for Youth and Sport met on 10 December at City Hall in Kragujevac. The chairman of the committee was Milan Vuckovic, and the meeting was attended by the Assistant Minister for Youth Snezana Klasnja, Head of department for youth cooperation of the Ministry of Youth and Sport Zorica Labudovic, members of the city council of Kragujevac Branko Krsmanovic and Slavica Saveljic, a representative of the regional youth office in Kragujevac Brankica Pavicevic with her associates, the representatives of youth offices from Topola, Raca and Lapovo Gordana Djordjevic, Nikola Stojanovic and Aleksandar Popovic, members of municipal councils of Knic, Raca, Batocina and Lapovo and a UNDP representative for Serbia Davor Salom, and student organizations’ representatives.

Competitions : Karate World Championship to be Held in Belgrade Next Year

18th December 2009 -  The Minister of Youth and Sport Snezana Samardzic Markovic received the representatives of the Karate Federation of Serbia on the occasion of a great success of young Serbian national team players at World Championship and World Cup, and the formalization of the co-operation regarding the organization of the World Senior Karate Championship in Belgrade 2010.
